This comp was put out by the Cherry Red label in 1983. This compilation is a great preserve of postpunk/weirdo loner jams/early indie music. A great text in a wider library of music many post-millenial musicians making chillbeats, or experimental bedroom songs, or the almost paradoxical punk/indie rock musicians still trying to add a new edge to a historically preserved artifact of the past, or other types of music being made these days that is popular outside of the mainstream needs if they want to be informed of what became before them, and how surprisingly close their “completely new” songs sound to songs kids made over 20 years ago…
